Private health insurance funds

Patients from the listed centers are admitted against:

1. A valid card (expiry date is checked).
2. Laboratory sheet with assignments from a doctor / the form for examination must be signed and stamped by the treating physician and the tests should be assigned in accordance with the referring diagnosis indicated by the treating physician.
   The validity of the card is checked on the spot in the manipulation room of IMDL “RAMUS” OOD and the following information is inserted on the form of test:
   – Health insurance number
   – Validity of the card;
   – The set of tests for which the patient is insured.

The patientdoes not have to pay a user fee.
The patient has to pay a fee for microbiological test when the lab provides a swab in transport culture medium.
Valid documents allow all assigned tests by the doctor to be performed as they comply with the set of tests the patient is insured for.

In the event of irregularities in the documentation of the insured individuals and upon presentation of documents not meeting the requirements of the relevant health insurance funds, patients pay for laboratory tests according to the current price list of IMDL “RAMUS” as they are issued a financial document (invoice or cash register receipt) for the costs incurred.
